Testimonials
“I emigrated to Canada over 40 years ago, and understand many of the challenges (and opportunities) when setting in a new country. Since 2018, I have volunteered for HMC in two main ways. The first is by leading groups of new immigrants in gaining knowledge of Canada as they prepare to take the Citizenship test. In the second role, I have been a mentor to two recent immigrants to advise and be a sounding board as they navigate their career options and advancement. I have found these roles to be very rewarding, and look forward to continuing to help new immigrants on their journeys of integrating into Canadian society.”
